Sullivan Hill will be a sponsor of the Children’s Advocacy Institute’s (CAI) 25th Anniversary Celebration and Silent Auction on November 15. The event, held at 6 p.m. at the University of San Diego’s (USD) University Center in Forums ABC, will announce the creation of a USD School of Law Chair in Child Rights. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by a sit down dinner and program and will conclude with a dessert reception.
“Sullivan Hill is honored to be a sponsor of the CAI anniversary celebration,” said Sullivan Hill Shareholder Donald Rez, who was recently re-appointed to serve on the USD School of Law Board of Visitors. “Our firm recognizes the importance of bringing children’s law issues to the front of the line, and CAI has worked for 25 years to do just that.”
As part of the USD School of Law, CAI is one of the nation’s premiere academic, research and advocacy organizations seeking to improve the lives of children and youth. CAI encompasses all issues that impact children, with special emphasis on improving the child protection, dependency court, and foster care systems. CAI’s academic program includes courses and clinical training to prepare USD law students and attorneys to be the next generation of child advocates.
