Sullivan Hill hosted the German American San Diego Foundation’s (GASDF) Skills Initiative Meeting at the firm’s offices on February 7. The purpose of the meeting was to present the Skills Initiative from the German government and discuss how various training and educational institutions can work together to implement the German dual vocational training system in California, which has already been successfully implemented in other areas of the U.S.
The meeting was attended by several guests from Sacramento including representatives from the Governor’s office, the California Employment Training Panel, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, and the California Community College Chancellor’s office.
