Gain a better understanding on the various risk-shifting clauses, their meanings, and how to identify them at the Construction Contracts 101 course presented by Shareholder Shay Kulkarni at the AGC San Diego. Mr. Kulkarni will address the various types of common contract clauses appearing in construction contracts and subcontracts that shift the risk of non-performance by third parties or other contracting parties.

Mr. Kulkarni is a Shareholder in the Construction and Real Estate Litigation practice groups of Sullivan Hill. He is the former two-time Chairman of the Construction Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association. He currently serves on the Steering Committee of Division 13 (Government Construction) of the ABA Forum on Construction Law, and as a member of the NEXT Initiative of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Kulkarni also proudly serves the San Diego community as an Advisory Board Member and Mentoring Program Co-chair for the Crawford Academy of Law program, and as a member of the Build and Serve Committee of the San Diego Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.
