Shareholder Gary Rudolph will moderate a two-part webinar series on the “Small Business Reorganization Act: A Primer and Path for the Future.” The program is hosted by the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum via Zoom. A Zoom link and password will be provided to registrants in advance.
Part-one will be on Thursday, May 28th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The panelists are Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Latham and bankruptcy practitioners Diane Gibson and Kit Gardner. The panel will provide an analysis of the key components of the Small Business Reorganization Act and Chapter 11 practice under the newly enacted Subchapter V.
Part-two will be on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The panelists are bankruptcy practitioners Kit Gardner, Diane Gibson, Ajay Gupta, and Kristin Mihelic. The panel will provide an overview of the Small Business Reorganization Act, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, and the Haven Act. After reviewing salient new rules, the panel will discuss the practice side of Subchapter V from the perspectives of both debtor and creditor, as well as landlord and tenant.
