Sullivan Hill’s Kathleen Cashman-Kramer will be a panelist for an upcoming program titled, “Getting Retained and Paid in Bankruptcy Cases: Rules, Requirements, and Practice Pointers,” presented by the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum (SDBF). The program is intended for professionals who provide services in Chapter 7, Chapter 13, or Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and will seek compensation for those services. The program will focus on the rules and requirements to be followed in order to be compensated and will cover the general requirements of the different chapters and payment arrangements, disclosure requirements in all chapters, fee applications, and other important issues. The program will take place on September 2, 2021, at 12:00 pm via Zoom.
The SDBF is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation founded in 1989 and is affiliated with the California Bankruptcy Forum, along with six other local forums: Orange County, Los Angeles, Bay Area, Sacramento, Inland Empire, and Central California. Of Counsel Kathleen Cashman-Kramer is a member of Sullivan Hill’s Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy practice group. She practices in the areas of bankruptcy and other insolvency matters as well as in commercial and real estate litigation. Her representation in the Bankruptcy Court includes bankruptcy trustees, secured, priority and unsecured creditors, lessors, and bankruptcy debtors in commercial Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings. She has represented a Chapter 13 Trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California. She also has represented title insurance companies as well as individual and corporate parties in business and real estate litigation. Ms. Cashman-Kramer currently serves as the co-chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
