Sullivan Hill’s Jim Hill will be a panelist on the California Lawyers Association (CLA)’s webinar titled, “Stalking Horse Real Property Sales in Bankruptcy: To Stalk or Not to Stalk,” a joint program of the CLA’s Business Law Section (BLS) and Real Property Law Section (RPLS). The presenters will discuss the benefits and pitfalls of bankruptcy section 363 sales, with a focus on “stalking horse” sale procedures in bankruptcy cases. Other panelists on the program include Michael Davis of DTO Law, as moderator; MaryBeth Heydt of DTO Law; Lovee Sarenas of Dinsmore; and Mark Porter of Fenwick & West LLP. The program will take place on October 11, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.

Mr. Hill served two terms as the inaugural Chair of the CLA and was Chair of its Business Law Section and Co-Chair of its Insolvency Law Committee before CLA’s separation from the State Bar of California.
