Sullivan Hill’s Gary Rudolph will produce the California Bankruptcy Forum’s (CBF) 34th Annual Insolvency Conference’s program titled, “Sub V Greatest Hits!” alongside Matthew Olson of Dorsey & Whitney LLP. The speakers will be the Hon. Jennifer E. Niemann, Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California, Monique Jewett-Brewster of Hopkins & Carley, Caroline Djang of Best Best & Krieger LLP and Robert G. Harris of Binder & Malter LLP. They will discuss relevant case law and recent issues relating to Sub V cases, including eligibility, Trustee powers, plan confirmation and other topics. The program will take place on Friday, May 20, at 4:30 p.m.
This year’s Insolvency Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency located in Monterey, California. In addition to its members, the conference is well attended by bankruptcy judges sitting throughout California as well as those from outside California who sit on the 9th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. These judges attend and offer their insights on trending bankruptcy law issues.
The California Bankruptcy Forum is the largest state-wide insolvency organization in California, and brings together lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, auctioneers, trustees, receivers and all other professionals involved in the insolvency practice.
Shareholder Gary Rudolph is a member of Sullivan Hill’s Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy practice group.
