Gary Rudolph and Kathleen Cashman-Kramer Presenting at SDLSA’s May 2021 Virtual Inter-Association Membership Meeting

Sullivan Hill’s Gary Rudolph and Kathleen Cashman-Kramer will present, “Bankruptcy | From a 60,000-foot view and the Impact of COVID,” at the May 2021 Virtual Inter-Association Membership Meeting of the San Diego Legal Secretaries Association (SDLSA). They will provide an overview of bankruptcy law and procedure, addressing Chapters 7, 13, 11, and Subchapter V bankruptcy filings. They will also discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted bankruptcy courts, businesses, and debtors over the past year. The presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 via Zoom.

SDLSA is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation formed on November 7, 1931.  Their objectives and purposes are to join together for the further education of legal secretaries and to cooperate with attorneys, judges, and bar associations in stimulating a high order of professional standards and ethics among those performing secretarial and other duties in the legal field. Sullivan Hill Legal Secretary, Linda Gubba-Reiner, has been an active member since 2009 and has served on the Board as a Director, Secretary, Vice-President for two terms, and President for two terms. She currently serves as the Executive Advisor and Parliamentarian.

Shareholder Gary Rudolph is a member of Sullivan Hill’s Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy practice group. He focuses his practice on the areas of business consultation, bankruptcy and other insolvency matters, including representation of corporate and commercial Chapter 11 and 7 debtors, landlords and tenants, creditors in commercial bankruptcy proceedings, Chapter 7 and 11 trustees and other court appointed fiduciaries. Mr. Rudolph currently serves as the chair of the of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association and serves on the executive committee of the Business Law Section of the California Lawyers Association.

Of Counsel Kathleen Cashman-Kramer is also a member of Sullivan Hill’s Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy practice group. She practices in the areas of bankruptcy and other insolvency matters as well as in commercial and real estate litigation. Her representation in the Bankruptcy Court includes bankruptcy trustees, secured, priority and unsecured creditors, lessors, and bankruptcy debtors in commercial Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings. She has represented a Chapter 13 Trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California. She also has represented title insurance companies as well as individual and corporate parties in business and real estate litigation. Ms. Cashman-Kramer currently serves as the co-chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
