Shareholder Chris Hawkins will be presenting at the San Diego Brewers Guild‘s San Diego Craft Beer Con in the program titled, “Financial Distress in the Craft Beer Community.” The presentation will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 11:30 AM.
In this program, Mr. Hawkins will speak alongside Mike Bergthold, Managing Director at the Stapleton Group, and Paul Buie of Onyx Asset Advisors on how to spot the signs of financial trouble early enough to minimize damage and maximize options. They will cover various turnaround strategies and legal options and how they can be applied to the craft beer industry. As the speakers are the professionals who guided Modern Times through its recent sale, this will be an interactive discussion on a timely topic.
The San Diego Craft Beer Con aims to provide valuable insights from experts as they explore a wide range of subjects, including business and leadership, technical brewing and the culture surrounding craft beer.
Founded in 1997, the SD Brewers Guild is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization of allied brewery members, tradespeople and other providers supporting the production and distribution of craft beer.
