Chris Hawkins and Gary Rudolph to Present to NACM’s San Diego Building Industry Supplier Credit Group

Sullivan Hill’s Chris Hawkins and Gary Rudolph will present to National Association of Credit Management (NACM)‘s San Diego Building Industry Supplier Credit Group on What You Need to Know About the Small Business Reorganization Act. The presentation will take place on January 25, 2023. 

NACM was founded in 1896 to promote good laws for sound credit, protect businesses against fraudulent debtors, improve the interchange of credit information, develop better credit practices and methods, and establish a code of ethics. Education and research programs illustrate NACM’s awareness of the complex needs of credit management today. Members of NACM are credit and financial executives, primarily representing manufacturers, wholesalers, financial institutions and varied service organizations.

As former managing partner of Sullivan Hill and a current member of the Executive Committee, Mr. Hawkins practices in the Insolvency and Commercial BankruptcyBusiness Transactions, and Commercial and Business Litigation practice groups. Within these practice areas, he represents a variety of corporate debtors, bankruptcy trustees, receivers, banks, trade creditors, asset purchasers and other parties in interest in all aspects of commercial insolvency, including bankruptcies, receiverships, and assignments for the benefit of creditors, and out-of-court workouts. He also represents clients with non-insolvency financial matters in both the transaction and litigation contexts.

Mr. Rudolph is a member of Sullivan Hill’s Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy practice group. He focuses his practice on the areas of business consultation, bankruptcy and other insolvency matters, including representation of corporate and commercial Chapter 11 and 7 debtors, landlords and tenants, creditors in commercial bankruptcy proceedings, Chapter 7 and 11 trustees and other court appointed fiduciaries. Mr. Rudolph is the vice chair of the of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association and Secretary of the Business Law Section of the California Lawyers Association (CLA) for 2022-2023. He is also on the board of the California Bankruptcy Forum (CBF) and a co-conference chair for the CBF’s 2023 conference. Additionally he serves on the board of directors for the non-profit agencies Angels Foster Family Network and the California Western School of Law Alumni Association.
